Description
Star Comet-21 Saloon (1931) in front of Bedon's Norton Manor House, Worcestershire, Great Britain. Previously owned by Edmund Nagele.
The Star Motor Company was a British car and commercial vehicle maker based in Wolverhampton and active from 1898 to 1932. At its peak Star was the UK's sixth largest car manufacturer and produced around 1000 cars a year. In it's days, the elegant Comet-21 Saloon with it's 3 ltr - 6 cylinder engine, was their most powerful 3 Ltr. touring saloon and superior to the Rolls Royce 20/25 of the same year. (However, the bakes were crap 😡)

Great car Edmund. The setting, composition and light really add to the feel of another era. Seen and voted in the 1930S Auto Fine Art Color Photos Contest.....good luck, Wendy
Edmund Nagele FRPS replied:
Thank you, Wendy. Indeed, travel in those days was more elegant and unhurried. I much enjoyed driving this car, though the brakes were a bit iffy... Your vote is also much appreciated.

Great looking car
Edmund Nagele FRPS replied:
Indeed, it was. I had to sell it before we moved to Bavaria where they drive on the wrong side of the road 😡
