When I left a Munich advertising studio for Ireland, I dreamed of cheap whisky, hot geysers and a little adventure. Wrong. Very wrong indeed! The whiskey was expensive, the hot springs were in Iceland and the little adventure developed into a big adventure. The land and it's people were fascinating right from the beginning and after learning a few words of the English language, tinted with an Irish flavour, mind and soul were cleared of orderly Teutonic perceptions. Yes Edmund, wisdom and foresight are indeed rare qualities these days - especially with a Wall Building Twitter Troll, and other Right-Wing Leaders about! - However, I believe those types of ignorant leaders and the troubles they cause, have always been around throughout history - only now, via our 24/7 Internet/Computer News Information, we have become so much more aware of it, on a global scale. - Whether this 'Glass House' effect will remove those leaders, or at least diminish their destructive actions, remains to be seen.
